INTUMESCENT COATING KITS TO UPGRADE RAISED AND FIELDED DOORS TO FIRE-RATED DOORS

This is a clear or white intumescent coating system for upgrading doors and panelling to fire door status. Materials contained in each
kit are enough to cover an area of 6m2 (according to the size of the door, enough material to cover three to four sides of single doors).
Only the risk side needs to be coated on room doors and both sides on doors leading onto corridors or at the top of stairs. There is
no need to remove any existing paints, varnish, or gold leaf. This product can be applied directly over all previous coatings after
normal surface washing. Fire tests have been carried out on specific panels and doors.

White kit contains: 1⁄2 litre primer, 11⁄2 litre intumescent coating and 1⁄2 litre top coating
Clear kit contains: 1⁄2 litre primer, 11⁄2 litre intumescent coating and 1⁄2 litre top coating

Product Description

Water based clear or white intumescent coating kit for upgrading raised-and-fielded doors to fire door status. Each kit contains 1⁄2 litre of primer, 11⁄2 litres of intumescent coating and 1⁄2 litre of top coat – enough to cover an area of 6m2 (depending on the size of the door this may be enough material to cover three to four sides of a door.) Kits can be coloured to BS or RAL colours (extra charge applies.)

Use:

NOTE: Doors must have a minimum 8mm thick fielded area and 28mm thickness stiles and rails. If you are unsure whether your doors are suitable please contact the Technical Department.
